genuinely amazing food. My whole family enjoyed each entree we had and appetizer! I personally have many allergies and they are very accommodating espically having a gluten free menu. My server was amazing with helping out for what I could have and was giving truthful opinions on questions about how different food was! As well as that the restaurant was clean and all the workers were nice and didn’t seem to slack off when there was time to (I work in restaurants and know time to slack is there). It’s definitely somewhere to go back to and enjoy!!

Medici ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Vibe, Excellent Service, and Good Value! If you are looking for a fantastic spot in Normal, IL, **Medici** at 120 W North St is definitely worth a visit. We had a really great experience overall, and there is a lot to love about this place! The Service & Experience The standout part of our visit was easily the hospitality. The **wait time was awesome**, and we were seated much quicker than expected. Once at the table, the **staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming**, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. On top of the great service, the **price was good** and felt very reasonable for the portions and quality. ### The Food The food has a ton of potential, with just a few minor tweaks needed to make it perfect: * **Jalapeño Bacon Cheese Dip:** The flavor profile was great, but the texture fell a bit flat. It could really use some cream cheese blended in to make the dip more creamy, smooth, and truly "dip-worthy." * **Chicken Wings:** These were cooked beautifully—crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. Went here for a birthday, the waiter was pretty awful. He never asked us for anything, and I ended up getting my own drink refills at the bar. We needed to leave in a fairly timely manner, and the food took forever. We ordered a pizza, and it was horrible. The crust was black around the edges and was not even edible. Will not be going back.

I have been here for meals, business meetings, and a surprise birthday party. This place is absolutely amazing and the food is great. This is a truly unique and one of a kind restaurant that the town is appreciates. My favorite meals there were the pasta meals and I have both the red and white sauce. Both were incredibly made and tasted perfect. We will be going back soon this summer and possibly for a birthday also.

Had reservations here for lunch on valentines day with my husband. Ghe jalapeño popper dip was good. The soup was good. (red pepper something?) I got the bbq brisket that comes on top of mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts - very good. We have had the orange creme brulee before and loved it. No dessert this time. We have been herefor his work christmas dinner and it's always great. We have never seen swordfish on a menu before so he decided to try it. It was tough and lacked flavor, unfortunately, so won't be getting that again. Other than that, it was a great choice for valentines day.
